Golden Pleasure House Point Session | Jessica and Adam Jessica and Adam had their lovely Engagement Session at the Pleasure House Point Park in Virginia Beach. It happens to be one of my favorite places to photograph because of how large it is and the beautiful light you can get in the area. The open spaces is great for creative wide shots just as much as intimate close ups. This is a pretty popular spot to have photos taken in the area but I love it! It doesn’t matter how many other people may be around, it always feel like you are there by yourself. Jessica and Adam…

Munden Point Park Engagement | Kaitlyn and Joe
Munden Point Park Engagement Kaitlyn and Joe This Munden Point Park Engagement is all about Microbiology and what a romantic subject is. Love is everywhere, just like microbiology! Ok, I am kidding. It is about Kaitlyn and Joe who met in Microbiology class. They study buddy together and after that first test, they had their first date. You can say that love is “bios”. Yes, I may indeed pun my way into this blog post and I have no shame. By the way, “bios” means life. *Insert smart smile here* Since then, they’ve watched the sunset on a Washington DC rooftop, have been each other’s career and life supporters and…

Pagoda Norfolk Engagement | Katie and Chris
Pagoda Norfolk Engagement Katie and Chris Katie and Chris are getting married! They were the winners of my Engagement Session Giveaway and I am so happy they won! They are naturals in front of each other and the camera. We did the Pagoda during one of the crazies times of the year in Norfolk. Do you know that little festival they do called Harborfest? Yep, we are brave like that. Fortunately, it wasn’t that crazy in our area and I got to create a lovely Harbofest image my way. There is a lot of smooching coming, so brave yourselves. Can I say the main image is one of my favorites from…

Norfolk Waterside Engagement Session | Michelle & Keith
Waterside Engagement Session Michelle & Keith Michelle & Keith are getting married! I can tell you they are indeed two sweet souls. They’ve found in each other an enduring love. One with support and understanding. Keith is a true gentleman as he caters to Michelle and she reciprocates with love and smiles. I love to hear how my couples meet, so of course, I always ask. I will shortly tell you their story, one that reminds you that when someone is for you, well, they’ll answer your message. How they met One fateful day, Keith was scrolling through his friend list online and eventually stumbled on Michelle’s beauty. He took…

Nicole + Matt | A Back Bay Engagement Session
Back Bay Engagement Session This Back Bay Engagement Session gave me some of my favorite sun-glares to date! Their Story Matt went blindly to an Admiral’s game without knowing Nicole would be there. The whole “I hate being set up” comes to mind but still proof that sometimes you don’t expect to be set up and it doesn’t matter because life has it for you. When he knew she was the one, his proposal included 11 letters (yes, 11!). Throughout the day, there were letters, a stop at their first date restaurant and a walk to get a “gift card”. A simple excuse to stop by a soothing fountain and…

Akira + Alton : A Virginia Beach Engagement
Virginia Beach Engagement Session Alton + Akira 2016 This Virginia Beach Engagement Session started with a bump… After Alton bumped into Akira, not once but twice, during a friend’s outing. They’ve been inseparable while long distances texting and talking often to learn more about each other. However, Alton knew what he wanted and one day with rose petals on the ground, lit candles, and a huge banner with “Akira, will you marry me?” he asked Akira to be his Forever and of course, she said “Yes!”. They’ll be tying the knot next year at The Oceanaire in Virginia Beach so stay tuned for those gorgeous images.

Scarlett + Dino: A First Landing Park Engagement Session
A First Landing Park Engagement Session Scarlett and Dino 2015 Scarlett & Dino are getting married! Back in November, I was invited to document my first Homecoming. It was cold like no other day, it was crowded and it was super early! I watched Scarlett wait for her love Dino under those conditions. She didn’t care, her excitement was so contagious, I didn’t care either. Then, a couple of months later I received THE email. Yes, Dino had proposed and they wanted me to document their celebration. Of course, I said Yes! Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session at First Landing Park. This time around there…
