Marian and Mike’s elegant Half Moone Wedding in Downtown Norfolk was full of love, dance and beautiful handmade details. A Celebration with family.

They are the perfect example of parent’s know best. This story is so incredible that if I tell it, you may get confused but it’s too good to omit. Here it comes:

Once a upon a time there was two coworkers (Mike’s parents) who fell in love. They had a lovely wedding with family and friends. There, two young people met and fell in love (Marian’s parents) and within the year they too got married. Years passed and both families grew but lost contact with each other. Each family raised beautiful children and those beautiful children grew and became professional adults who lived all over the place in the states.

When the two Original Families (yes, I’ve given them a name) reconnected after some years, the Moms realized their respective children (Marian and Mike) had moved to the same area at the same time and they didn’t know anyone. Therefore, they exchanged phone numbers so their children would have a friend to lean on. Although moms do know best, I am unsure if at that moment they realized they were paring soulmates.

Marian and Mike met, got to know each other, went out on outdoor adventures and bonded in the way soulmates do. They way they talk to each other, look at each other and lean on each other is beautiful to witness.
