I met Scarlett & Dino back in November of 2014. Dino had been on deployment for a long time and Scarlett wanted somebody to document his homecoming. I, of course, agreed. As a former military wife, I knew it would be emotional and a great time. Little I knew that it was going to be in freezing weather and super early in the morning. That aside, I loved spending my morning with Scarlett and Dino as she waited for her Love. You can see their Homecoming HERE.
When they asked me to be their wedding photographer I certainly agreed! They are loving, funny people and so easy to get along with. They love fast, they love intensely and share a love for all things nautical. Their choice of a pink and navy wedding with marine accents brought the wedding to life.
It is Hampton Roads and of course, weather can be so unpredictable, so Scarlett & Dino’s April wedding brought cold and windy crazy weather. A blazing cold sun (is that possible?) grazed us during the First Look and we were able to have some quick portraits before heading to a ceremony full of tears, mostly Dino’s, laughter and a beautiful love story.
