An elegant wedding at Christ & St. Luke’s Episcopal wedding followed by an equal vibe at Town Point Club.
Erica & Edward
The thing I love the most about Hampton Roads and it’s weddings is the amount of perfect places to have a wedding. Even after six years in business, I am always getting invited to new places. Having a Christ & St. Luke’s Episcopal Wedding and a Town Point Club Wedding on the same day, was a treat!
This time, I got to document Erica and Edward’s elegant wedding at the Christ & St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. This church is absolutely gorgeous with so much details and history. The church was built in the 1900’s and is registered with the National Register of Historic Places. Even with all this Norfolk history behind it, it does not compare to the relationship Edward and his family have with the Church. This is where Edward’s parents got married and after knowing Edward’s family for years, Reverend Lewis now blessed his marriage to the equally amazing Erica.
Their Story
Erica and Edward met thanks to OKCupid. An online dating opportunity. After a couple of weeks chatting, Erica & Edward decided to meet. Even after Erica, by mistake stole his take-out food, Edward was in for subsequent dates at no surprise to me.
I could tell you many, many things about Erica. She drove hours to meet me in person and chat about her wedding. The moment I met her I saw kindness, self-drive and what I could just describe as an incredible sense of love for Edward.
I could never argue Erica’s view of Edward. He is “dashingly handsome, smart and madly in love with the bride-to-be! He’s incredibly sweet, chivalrous and is a loyal friend and partner.” I saw and sensed this throughout their wedding day. Edward’s soul has been nourished greatly by his strong parents and sisters.
After their ceremony, Erica and Edward had a celebration of love at the Town Point Club a couple of miles away. The Town Point Club is absolutely beautiful, with a view from the reception room to envy. Spacious and elegant, the Town Point Club, brings fantastic food and lovely atmosphere.
