The sun was going down as we went to the Lynnheaven Pier in an early March day. Hampton Road’s weather can be absolutely crazy but we were very lucky to receive a mild and comforting evening between raining moments. The low tide brings up one of my favorites little parts of this beach. Right next to the pier you can find a lonely and beautiful sand that shows up right on the ideal spot. When the tide is this way, you can stand and be surrounded by the beach and reflections. I had just purchased a prism early this month, but with the natural mirrors of the ocean water, I didn't have to use it.
I like to sit back and watch my couple’s interactions, it draws me in and I feel in their world. As high school sweethearts, I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to photograph that day. Leah and Chris were amazing to photograph on this day. The weather was great, the couple was superb and the nature surrounding them was all I could hope for.
